be hosting the 2010 National show in Tyler, TX.

The junior
show and showmanship judge is set – Billy Farris Brahman
Breeder excellent with kids. Every junior exhibitor
will receive a number holder. Belt buckles will Be
awarded for Grand and Reserve Junior Champion Females
and for Grand Champion Showman in each age
division.
The open
show judge has not been set yet but I will keep you
posted. Grand and Reserve. Champion Females and Bulls
will receive a belt buckle and a bell.
The host
hotel will provide a free hot breakfast every morning
and SWPA will provide Coffee and donuts at the barn.
East Texas
State Fair will provide shavings for all entered cattle
at no extra cost.
The
banquet will be held at the Rose Garden next to
fairgrounds and SWPA will
split cost with participants trying to limit cost to no
more than $10 per person
MidWest
Assn. will be auctioning a heifer to raise money for
next years National show.
Scholarship Committee will be selecting a winner and
will have something to
auction as well but it won’t be a heifer so as not
to conflict.
SWPA has
ordered National Show t-shirts which will be available
at the show in limited supply at a cost of $12 each.
You can reserve yours by sending $, sizes
and quantity ahead of time.
SWPA will
be sending out sponsorship letters in hopes of getting
some help with cost of awards. At this time half of
buckles have been sponsored.
Local
Ranch will sponsor hot dog and hamburger cookout at
hotel Wednesday night at 7 pm free of charge to all
participants.
Local
media will be on hand at open show filming and talking
to breeders.
Photographer will be on hand to take pictures and place
on CD for all to take home. We will get photos of all
class winners and division winners to send to magazine.
CDs will cost $10 each

Scholarship Information
SCHOLARSHIP FORM
Application deadline: August 15, 2010
To advance its mission of supporting education and
youth, the American Pinzgauer Association will award
general scholarships to young men and women actively
involved in the Pinzgauer breed who are pursuing an
undergraduate degree in higher education. The number of
scholarships is subject to change depending on fund
availability. If there is not a qualified applicant,
funds will be retained for later scholarship use. The
guidelines and requirements are outlined below.
Applications may be obtained from the American Pinzgauer
Association office or online at www.pinzgauers.org.
Deadline for this application will be May 1st.

Qualifications

The applicant must be a graduating high school
senior or must be enrolled in a junior college, 4
year college/university or other
accredited institution of higher education.

Applicants must currently be a Junior or Adult
member of the American Pinzgauer Association.

Applicant cannot have reached their 25th
birthday prior to Jan.1 of the year of application.

Applicant must have been an active member of the
American Pinzgauer Association for at least
3 years.

Applicant must provide proof of entry into college
or university before actual payment will be made to
the institution in the recipients name.

Applicant can only receive this scholarship once and
must utilize funds within 1 year of receipt of
scholarship.
